About the Role：

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Application Software Engineer to join our Industrial Automation team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, driving project execution, and contributing to the development and optimization of automation solutions with a strong focus on building control and drive solution for machine tool application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site customer supportas required and agreed
• System commissioning: setup drives and motors, tuning of drives and CNC to optimize machine path, setup CNC functionalities, troubleshooting, and fault rectification.
• Support customers and internal stakeholders in industrial automation projects (drive technology, PLC programming, system integration).
• Participate in the development and enhancement of CNC, HMI, and PLC functions.
• Maintain, validate, and perform testing of newly developed products to ensure quality and reliability.
• Take ownership of independent project management, including planning, execution, and reporting, while coordinating closely with the development team.
• Identify faults and provide effective solutions for troubleshooting in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and maintain development documentation and functional specifications to support internal processes and customer needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experienceand solid knowledge of PLC,NC and HMI development.
• Knowledge of drive technologyand system integration.
• Result oriented problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve (or locate) technical issues
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer on-site support. (30% - mainly in EU)
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)：

• Hands-on experience withlaser systems and motion control.
• Familiarity with Siemens, Beckhoff, or similar CNC platforms. (suggest not to mention in JD)
• Background in industrial automation R&D or product development.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional, international teams.
